Today we went to the show
We went down to the Bundarra Show this morning. The poultry were back after many years, and there were some fine birds there. The showjumping was horrible and we saw two riders deservedly dumped. The Dorper sheep and cattle were pretty good. Young Cameron Jones from Tingha was there tagging along with the cattle judge, helping out and full of professional patter-he was terrific. The Merino wool was fabulous, they were out of ketchup in the canteen and the high point was a runaway sheep from the sheepdog trials that tore through the arena seating leaping the benches. Compared to the debacle of the horses in the showjumping, that was one animal who jumped with intent and grace.

Nice photitos. Wouldn’t have to change much to think the show was in NZ!
Love the photos especially the pumpkins and the tractor. I’m assuming the camera was returned safe and sound.
Not yet-that was Ross’ camera. Hopefully tomorrow!
Those chickens are real beauties!
Hey J! They sure were. While I was there, I made a Japanese bantam connect, too. So I might get a new hen or two in a bit.
Love the photos. Felt like I was there.
